Welcome!

    Hello readers! Even though I may not know who is currently reading this I still welcome you to my new blog with open arms, virtual that is. Over the past several years I have attempted to maintain a  blog always telling myself that "this is the year it'll stick"  but never successfully accomplishing my goal. I might try and blame it on time or lack of things to write about, but honestly I can only blame it on my poor motivation. Although my track record is clearly terrible, this summer, and I  truly mean it, I am going to write about all of the adventures, discoveries, and roadblocks that will come my way. First off, I'll give you a little insight on the "women behind the curtain".

  

  My name is Nicole but many know me as Nikki. I was born in Costa Rica several years ago, not to give you a specific number, to a wonderful American mom and an incredibly talented Costarican Father, or as Costariccan's are called "Ticos". I am still very young and am learning the ways of the world through the eyes of a curios and somewhat lost teenager. I love all things books, movies, and music. I know for a fact that I will die before I am ever able to finish my reading list because it is never ending, literally. I am a hard core animal lover and have given my life to serving the lord. There comes a certain time where you can no longer blindly follow the steps of your parents with God, but instead you have to embark on your own personal journey to trusting, and truly believing in his power, love, and wisdom. It because of him I am who I am and why I come from where I do. I also have a long history of European roots and I hope to one day go there and experience all that comes with traveling to a new country, the good, the badly and even the ugly. I like to think I have an open mind and heart and that I am  not only a dreamer, but also a little bit of a realist.

    

 After this somewhat of a brief overview, I hope that I may have peaked your interest and that you will accompany me on the long voyage that is my life. For now, I say au revoir! Until next time readers!
